About
From an early age I knew I wanted to be a surgeon. What really compelled me was the high-stakes environment coupled with the ability to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.

No field combines the scientific principles of surgery with an artistic mindset more than plastic surgery. The creative limits are truly boundless! From my (limited) experience I have witnessed master surgeons work on complex microsurgical, craniofacial, trunk, and extremity reconstructions. Each case provides the opportunity to learn more about how to manipulate the body's tissues to restore form and function.

Through my journey in academic plastic surgery, I hope to improve understanding in approaches to complex reconstruction, optimize surgical techniques, and augment patient outcomes.
